BOWLING GREEN -- A Rossford man who allegedly set his house on fire was indicted this week by a Wood County grand jury.

Ian Ortega, 19, of 149 Oak St., was indicted on two counts of aggravated arson and one count each of felonious assault and aggravated possession of drugs.

He is to be arraigned Sept. 17 in Wood County Common Pleas Court before Judge Reeve Kelsey.

Court records say Mr. Ortega allegedly set fire to his house Aug. 19 then fled in his car.

He returned a short while later, and police later obtained a search warrant for his vehicle, in which they found suspected psilocybin mushrooms.

The indictment also alleges that in setting the fire, he created "a substantial risk of serious physical harm" to others.
