Court date set for 17-year-old in robbery

A 17-year-old Toledoan recently certified to stand trial as an adult is to be arraigned Wednesday in Lucas County Common Pleas Court on charges related to the alleged robbery of a University of Toledo student.

Rodney Price, Jr., of 1919 Cone St. is charged with aggravated robbery with a gun specification and two counts of felonious assault, one with a gun specification.

If convicted, he faces up to 30 years in prison.

The Price youth is accused of trying to rob student Kristal Studer, 22, while she walked home shortly before midnight Aug. 15.

During the incident, Ms. Studer was hit in the head by an object.
