Toledoan to be arraigned in rape, stabbing

A Toledoan accused of raping and stabbing a woman at a West Toledo hotel is to be arraigned Tuesday in Lucas County Common Pleas Court. Duncan Stacker, 54, of 439 Wendell St. was indicted this week on two counts of rape and one count each of aggravated burglary, aggravated robbery, robbery, and felonious assault. He is in custody in lieu of a $200,000 bond set in Toledo Municipal Court.

Authorities said the woman, 20, reported being forced back into her room at the Crown Inn, 1727 W. Alexis Rd., about 9:30 a.m. Sept. 22. Police said she was sexually assaulted and stabbed in the back with scissors or a screwdriver. She was treated at Toledo Hospital for life-threatening injuries.
