SANDUSKY -- Sandusky police charged a man with murder today, less than two hours after the woman he lived with was found dead in a pool of blood.

Theodis Michael Keys, Jr., 33, was held in the Erie County jail.

Police responded about 1:40 p.m. to a report that a woman was lying dead in the bathroom area of a residence in the 100 block of East Follett Street. She was identified as Lorie Miller, 33.

Mr. Key was identified as a person of interest, and he turned himself in at the sheriff's office about 3:30 p.m. He was driving Ms. Miller's car, police said.

Dr. Brian Baxter, Erie County coroner, said an autopsy would be performed by the Lucas County coroner's office.
