Accused PNC robber held in lieu of $100,000

Bond was set at $100,000 Friday for a man accused of robbing a PNC Bank branch in South Toledo the day before.

Dennis Vernon King, 63, no address available, was arraigned in Toledo Municipal Court on an aggravated robbery charge. He was ordered held in the Lucas County jail pending a pretrial hearing Friday.

He is accused of pulling a gun on a teller and fleeing with $1,000 cash from the bank at 4 S. Reynolds Rd. near Hill Avenue about noon. Thursday. Sylvania Township police arrested him in the 7500 block of Central Avenue after a traffic stop.
