Wood County constable cited for security work

Wood County's Chief Court Constable Thomas Chidester recently received the 2012 Justice Evelyn Lundberg Stratton Award for his court security efforts.

Mr. Chidester has been in charge of court security at the Wood County courthouse for 16 years.

The award recognizes Justice Stratton’s “leadership and inspiration in developing a solid foundation for an effective and efficient court security system in the Ohio courts.”
