Toledoan indicted in fatal shooting

A Toledo man charged with killing his former girlfriend was indicted Tuesday by a Lucas County grand jury.

Traquawn Gibson, 18, 2720 Elm St. was charged with two alternate counts of murder in the shooting death of CreJonnia Bell, 19. If convicted, he faces up to life prison.

Mr. Gibson is in custody in lieu of $1 million.

In municipal court, Mr. Gibson also faces assault charges stemming from a reported gang-related fight outside a Start-Scott high school football game Sept. 28.

In common pleas court, he faces one count of aggravated burglary for allegedly entering Scott High School on Oct. 10 with the help of a student inside the building. Authorities said he assaulted a student and threatened a teacher.
