Arraignment of a Toledo mother charged with murder for the death of her 6-month-old son has been delayed for appearance of an appointed lawyer.

Lucas County Common Pleas Judge continued bond Thursday for Amanda Bacon, 25, of 504 W. Alexis Rd. at $1 million. Her arraignment on murder and child endangering was postponed until Tuesday. If convicted, she faces up to life in prison.

Ms. Bacon is accused of throwing her son Avery Glynn Bacon, causing multiple skull fractures and brain damage, sometime on Dec. 16.

He was eventually taken to C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, where he died Dec. 18.
