Trial to be March 18 in Moody Manor slaying

A March 18 date was set for three men facing murder and assault charges in the Aug. 9 shootings of two toddlers in the Moody Manor apartment complex. Keondra Hooks, 1, was killed. Her sister, Leondra, 2, was injured.

Keshawn Jennings, 20, of 244 Wasaon St.; James Moore, 20, of 2037 W. Terrace View St., and Antwaine Jones, 19, of 3145 Cottage Ave., each face 11 charges. The men face one count each of aggravated murder, murder, and improperly discharging a firearm into a habitation, two counts each of attempt to commit aggravated murder and attempt to commit murder, and four counts of felonious assault, each with gun specifications. They face up to life in prison if convicted.
