Bond was increased by $100,000 Wednesday for a Toledo salon owner charged with filming two teenagers undressing while using a tanning booth at his firm, according to Lucas County Common Pleas Court officials.

Matthew Gonzalez, owner of Matthew Vincente Salon, was indicted by a Lucas County grand jury Tuesday with four additional counts of illegal use of a minor in nudity-oriented material, and was being held in the Lucas County jail.

He had previously been charged with one count each of illegal use of a minor in nudity-oriented material, tampering with evidence, and obstructing justice; his original bond was set at $75,000.

Mr. Gonzalez, 49, of 1337 Cromly Ct. is accused of hiding a cell phone in a tanning room at his Garden Road salon and recording a client. Authorities said the additional charges are the result of more evidence and involve incidents with two victims, ages 16 and 17.
