Teen’s trial in death of girlfriend, 19, delayed
1/25/2013The jury trial for a Toledo man charged in the shooting death of his girlfriend has been postponed until Feb. 25.
Traquawn Gibson, 18, of 2720 Elm St. is charged with aggravated murder with a firearms specification in the Nov. 18 death of CreJonnia Bell, 19.
Lucas County Common Pleas Judge Ruth Ann Franks on Thursday also set a trial for Mr. Gibson the same day for an unrelated charge of aggravated burglary stemming from an Oct. 10 incident at Scott High School.
He is in the Lucas County jail in lieu of $1 million bond.
