Monroe woman guilty in Wood County sting

A Monroe woman who was arrested Tuesday and charged with solicitation in a sting targeting prostitution activity in Wood County has been convicted in Perrysburg Municipal Court.

Morgan D. Morris, 20, pleaded no contest on Thursday to disorderly conduct with persistence, a fourth-degree misdemeanor, and Judge S. Dwight Osterud found her guilty. She was fined $150 and court costs and sentenced to two days in jail but given credit for time spent in jail awaiting her court appearance. The cases against four men also arrested in the sting are pending.
