Municipal court hires deputy administrator

A former federal prison warden has been hired as the deputy court administrator for Toledo Municipal Court.

Presiding Judge William M. Connelly, Jr., said Friday that Michael Zenk has been appointed to the position effective Jan. 8. He is being paid $76,715 a year.

A graduate of Michigan State University, Mr. Zenk spent much of his 33-year career in criminal justice with the Federal Bureau of Prisons, working as warden at lockups in Atlanta, Brooklyn, N.Y., and Allenwood, Pa., and as deputy director of the Southeast Regional Office of the bureau.
