BOWLING GREEN — A rural Perrysburg man who barricaded himself inside a mobile home last year has pleaded guilty to two charges.

John B. Spencer, 43, is to be sentenced April 30 by Wood County Common Pleas Judge Robert Pollex for inducing panic and domestic violence, charges to which he pleaded Tuesday.

Prosecutors said additional charges of felonious assault, criminal damaging, and using weapons while intoxicated would be dismissed as part of a plea deal.

Spencer was arrested April 9 after holding sheriff’s deputies at bay for more than two hours while he holed up inside a Troy Township mobile home with a handgun. Earlier that evening, he had attempted to harm Rebecca Spencer with a sport utility vehicle.
