April 2 trial date set for man in shooting case

An April 2 trial date has been set in Lucas County Common Pleas Court for a Toledo man charged with shooting two men, one fatally, in December.

Danny Kendzierski, 34, of 7 Magyar St. is charged with murder in the shooting death of Lamine Wilson, 32, and felonious assault in the wounding of Kenneth Lee, 27.

Both men were shot Dec. 14 in East Toledo’s Birmingham neighborhood.

The case is before Judge Frederick McDonald.
