Oregon man’s trial date set in father’s death

A trial date of March 25 was scheduled Monday for an Oregon man charged in the beating death of his father.

Jacob Kutsch, 21, of 1131 Eastwood Ave. is charged in Lucas County Common Pleas Court with murder in the Nov. 3 death of John Kutsch, 58.

Oregon police said the elder Mr. Kutsch was found unconscious at his home after an apparently violent struggle with his son.
