Another charge added for man in police chase

A Holland man charged with fleeing from police then trying to ram a police car was indicted Friday by a Lucas County grand jury on an additional charge of failure to comply with an order or signal of a police officer.

Bryon Hageman, 43, already had been facing a charge of felonious assault for a Feb. 3 incident on Holland-Sylvania Road near South Avenue where a state trooper attempted to stop his vehicle for reckless driving. A chase ensued.
