The trial of three men charged in the Aug. 9 shootings of two toddlers at the Moody Manor apartments was postponed Thursday until May 13.

Lucas County Common Pleas Judge Frederick McDonald rescheduled the trial following a two-day hearing on a motion to suppress statements one of the suspects, Keshawn Jennings, made to police prior to his arrest in the death of Keondra Hooks, 1, and the wounding of her sister, Leondra, 2. The judge had not yet ruled on the suppression motion.

Mr. Jennings, 21, of 244 Wasaon St.; James Moore, 21, of 2037 W. Terrace View St., and Antwaine Jones, 19, of 3145 Cottage Ave., each are charged with aggravated murder and improperly discharging a firearm, two counts of attempt to commit aggravated murder and attempt to commit murder, and four counts of felonious assault, each with gun specifications.
