Northwood court collects more than $12,000 in February

The Northwood Mayor’s Court collected a total of $12,167.60 in February, Mayor Mark Stoner reported to council. This includes $3,038 in fines, $5,284 in forfeitures, and $3,845 in costs.

Mayor Stoner also reported that Paul Gercak will be rehired on a part-time basis to assist with the baseball program this year. He will be paid $2,030.

The mayor also said at city council’s regular meeting last week that Anthony Caligiuri completed his paramedic training and had been promoted to firefighter-paramedic at an hourly pay rate of $15.96.
