A man accused of shooting another individual and then allegedly threatening to kill him was arraigned today.

Anthony C. Smith, 27, of 2221 Auburn Ave., is charged with one count each of felonious assault and intimidation of a victim. His bond was set at $500,000.

The suspect is accused of shooting Vincent Pittman, 38, outside of an illegal after-hours club at 2345 Pelee St., in West Toledo, at about 3:40 a.m. May 3.

Less than a month later, the suspect allegedly approached the victim at West Bancroft and Isherwood streets, pointed a gun at the victim, and allegedly said if he proceeded with the felonious assault charges, he would kill the victim.

The suspect was arrested Wednesday night after a brief pursuit.

According to court documents, Dameisha Foreman, 20, of 4408 Airport Hwy., was driving a vehicle that led police on a high-speed chase in the 1200 block of West Sylvania Avenue.

Police said Ms. Foreman drove "erratically" through parking lots and ignored stop signs.

She reportedly told police she knew that Smith, her passenger, was on the run from police.

She was also arraigned today in Toledo Municipal Court on charges of obstructing justice and failure to comply. Her bond was set at $15,000.
