East Toledo man indicted in homicide
7/27/2013An East Toledo man wounded in what authorities believe was a drug deal gone wrong has been charged in the death of the man who was shot and killed in the crime.
Kenneth Lee, 28, of 2121 Woodford St. was indicted Thursday by a Lucas County grand jury on an involuntary manslaughter charge in the Dec. 14 shooting death of Lamine Wilson, 32, in the East Toledo.
Danny Kendzierski, 34, of 7 Maygar St. was convicted July 18 of involuntary manslaughter for Wilson's death and sentenced to five years in prison. He said he shot both men in self-defense in a car after he arranged to buy drugs from Lee, and he and Wilson pulled guns on him.
