A Lucas County grand jury has issued a four-count indictment with weapon specifications against a Swanton Township man in the shooting death of his estranged wife's boyfriend.

David Zielinski, 33, is charged with aggravated murder, aggravated burglary, kidnapping, and attempted murder, with each offense carrying specifications that a gun was used.

Michael Jackson, 20, was shot and beaten in the early hours of July 14 at 1650 W. Central Ave., the home of Amber Hayes, Mr. Zielinski's wife.

Mr. Zielinski was arrested several days later at a gas station on Hagman Road in North Toledo. He is being held in the Lucas County jail in lieu of $1 million bond.
