Lucas County prosecutors have presented enough evidence to have Dimitrias Graves, 27, of Toledo stand trial for murder.

A grand jury indictment on Monday charges Mr. Graves of 159 Everett St. with one count of murder and three counts of second-degree felonious assault, each with a firearm specification, for the Oct. 23 slaying of his girlfriend, Mariah Wells, 22, of Newark, Ohio.

Ms. Wells was shot in front of 658 Spring St., the residence of Mr. Graves’ mother. Police have said the woman’s lungs were pierced by a single bullet.

Mr. Graves and another man, Jordan Strong, were both charged with improperly discharging a firearm at or into a residence, also a second-degree felony.
