Bar robber could get 
18 years at sentencing

A South Toledo man faces up to 18 years in prison for his role in the June 28 robbery at the Six Pack Bar and Grill in West Toledo.

Anthony Martin, 20, of 247 Mayberry St. pleaded guilty Tuesday in Lucas County Common Pleas Court to two counts of robbery with gun specifications. He will be sentenced Jan. 9 by Judge Frederick McDonald.

Russell Kiker, 21, of Temperance pleaded no contest in August to obstructing official business in connection with the robbery. His sentencing by Judge McDonald, scheduled for Tuesday, was postponed one week.

David Smith, 22, of 1040 Oakdale Ave., a co-defendant, is charged with two counts of aggravated robbery with a firearm specification.
