BOWLING GREEN — A Findlay man was sentenced Monday to four years in prison for a drunken-driving crash that resulted in his passenger’s death.

Jeremy Albrecht, 34, pleaded guilty in Wood County Common Pleas Court Oct. 21 to aggravated vehicular homicide and operating a motor vehicle while under the influence stemming from a June 18, 2011, motorcycle crash that killed Angela A. Cook, 32, of Bloomdale.

He was westbound on State Rt. 18 just east of Bairdstown when he failed to stop for a stop sign at Leathers Road, drove through a three-way intersection, and his motorcycle overturned in a field.

Judge Reeve Kelsey imposed the prison term and suspended Albrecht’s driver’s license for 10 years for the aggravated vehicular homicide conviction and one year for the OVI.
