Lucas Co. Common Pleas elects judge

Lucas County Domestic Relations Judge Norman Zemmelman has been elected by his colleagues as presiding judge for all divisions of Common Pleas Court for the coming year.

The presiding judge assigns judges to serve temporarily in other divisions of the court and conducts an annual meeting of all of the judges to discuss and resolve administrative problems common to all divisions of the court.

Common Pleas Judge Stacy Cook was elected administrative judge for the general trial division for 2014. She will be responsible for the court’s operation and for compliance with the rules set forth by the Ohio Supreme Court.
