5 indicted over fight at basketball game

Five Toledo men were indicted Monday by a Lucas County grand jury on charges stemming from a fight at the Dec. 20 Bowsher-Scott basketball game at Bowsher High School.

Indicted for aggravated riot were Andre Wright, 19, and Adrian Wright, 19, both of 1762 Macomber St.; Lewis Reynolds, 19, of 325 Kosciusko St.; Anquette Carter-McCoy, 20, of 2260 Warren St., and Tyler McCreary, 20, of 829 Toronto Ave.

Andre Wright also was indicted for assault on a peace officer for allegedly striking a Lucas County sheriff’s deputy on the face and shoving her, causing her to fall into the stands as she attempted to restrain him during the fight. The game was stopped for about 10 minutes.
