A Toledo man pleaded no contest Monday to robbery for holding up a Dollar General store.

Kevin Donelson, 22, of 5747 Talmadge Rd. had been indicted for aggravated robbery but entered a plea to the amended charge. Lucas County Common Pleas Judge Linda Jennings found him guilty and scheduled sentencing for April 2.

Lindsay Navarre, an assistant Lucas County prosecutor, told the court Donelson walked into Dollar General, 3020 Cherry St., Dec. 21, stuck what a store employee took to be a gun in her lower back, and demanded she open the cash drawer. When she did, he grabbed the money.

He faces up to three years in prison.
