A motorist involved in a Feb. 14 five-vehicle crash was indicted Monday by a Lucas County grand jury on charges stemming from the fatal crash.
Brian Rosenburg, 22, who had addresses in Toledo and elsewhere, was indicted on two counts of aggravated vehicular homicide — one that alleged he was under the influence of alcohol or drugs at the time and the other which alleged he was driving recklessly.
According to Toledo police, Mr. Rosenburg was northbound on Byrne Road when he struck the rear of a car driven by Judith Crawford, 47, of Toledo, which was stopped at a red light at Dorr Street. The impact forced her car into the back of a sport utility vehicle, which was then pushed into the intersection, striking another car.
Ms. Crawford died Friday as a result of her injuries.
