3 suspects in fatal Fostoria fire indicted by a Seneca County grand jury
6/12/2014TIFFIN -- Three suspects were indicted today with felony charges for their roles in a Fostoria arson that left two people dead and one hospitalized.
Shey Weiker, 31, faces charges of aggravated arson, aggravated murder, murder, and attempted murder. Charles Schaeffer, 44, faces charges of complicity to aggravated arson, complicity to aggravated murder, complicity to murder, and complicity to attempted murder. Timothy Hall, 20, faces charges of tampering with evidence, and two counts of obstructing justice.
The arrest of the three Fostoria suspects followed a May 26 fire at 614 S. Poplar St., Fostoria which killed Danny Marker, Jr., 48, and Tara Vance. Dana Weatherhall was injured.
Authorities have accused Ms. Weiker of using a railroad flare to start the fire.
