West Toledo man arraigned for allegedly shooting man outside bar

A West Toledo man was arraigned today for allegedly shooting a man outside a north end bar.

Justin Quinn, 24, of 3805 Revere Dr., is charged with felonious assault for the June 22 shooting of LaJuan Pearson, 37, outside JT‘s Bar and Grill, 3325 Stickney Ave. Bond for Qui‍nn was set at $100,000; he is to remain in the Lucas County jail. His next court date is July 28.

Police allege that Quinn and another man tried to rob the victim when he demanded the victim “run your pockets.” The victim told police he continued to walk toward the door of the bar when he was shot multiple times. His injuries were not considered to be life threatening.

The second suspect has not been identified.
