Toledoan charged in murder to be arraigned

A 19-year-old Toledo man arrested in connection with a May murder is to be arraigned Monday in Toledo Municipal Court.

Michael Darnell Gaston, Jr., of 1760 Macomber St. was taken into custody about 5 p.m. Friday by Toledo police SWAT and gang units at 2221 Auburn Ave.

In June, Mr. Gaston was charged with murder in the May 25 shooting death of Sheymarr Noble in the 2100 block of Joffre Avenue. Three others were wounded in the midday shooting.

Mr. Gaston was held Saturday in the Lucas County jail pending his court appearance.
