LOS ANGELES — Olivia Wilde and Jason Sudeikis are getting married.

This will be the second wedding for both actors. Wilde finalized her divorce from documentarian Tao Ruspoli in 2011 after eight years of marriage. Sudeikis was previously married to Pitch Perfect screenwriter Kay Cannon. They divorced in 2010.

Wilde, 28, rose to fame on TV’s House M.D. Sudeikis, 37, is a star of Saturday Night Live.

Roberts hopes to return to ‘GMA’ within weeks

Robin Roberts’ grueling road to recovery will be bringing her back to the Good Morning America anchor desk soon.

Appearing from her home on Monday’s show, Roberts wore a broad smile as she announced that her most recent bone marrow test showed no sign of the life-threatening disease that has kept her off the air for months.

That means she can begin the process of returning to the anchor chair, she said, emphasizing she needs to go through a “process of re-entry.” She said she hopes to be back “in weeks, not months,” perhaps as soon as February.

In June, she disclosed that she had MDS, a blood and bone marrow disease. Her last day on GMA was Aug. 30 before she began extended medical leave from the ABC morning show, which last summer overtook longtime ratings leader Today.

Foster comments

BEVERLY HILLS, Calif. — Jodie Foster came out without really coming out, and suggested she was retiring from acting without exactly saying so, in a long, breathless and rambling speech at Sunday night’s Golden Globe Awards.

Foster took the stage as this year’s winner of the Cecil B. DeMille Lifetime Achievement Award, which had been announced previously.

The 50-year-old Oscar-winner, who’s been protective of her private life and reluctant to discuss her sexual orientation, was coy at first, suggesting she had a big announcement that would make her publicist nervous. Then she stated: “I’m just going to put it out there, loud and proud ... I am, uh, single,” pausing for dramatic effect before that last word. “I hope you’re not disappointed that there won’t be a big coming-out speech tonight. I already did my coming-out about a thousand years ago back in the Stone Age.”

Foster also made it sound as if she planned to retire from acting once and for all, something she’d toyed with previously. “This feels like the end of one era and the beginning of something else. Scary and exciting, and now what?” Foster said.

But backstage afterward, she said “I could never stop acting. You’d have to drag me behind a team of horses. I’d like to be directing tomorrow. I’m more into it than I have ever been.”

New single

NEW YORK — Justin Timberlake released his new single, “Suit and Tie,” late Sunday night. It features rapper Jay-Z.

The upbeat jam is the 31-year-old’s first musical offering since 2006’s critically acclaimed “FutureSex/LoveSounds.” His third solo album, “The 20/20 Experience,” will be out later this year.

Apology accepted

PASADENA, Calif. — The teenage actor Angus T. Jones is expected back at Two and a Half Men this week, with CBS accepting his apology for calling the popular comedy “filth” and “very inappropriate.”

“We move on,” CBS Entertainment President Nina Tassler said on Saturday. After a break for the holidays, actors on Two and a Half Men are about to begin rehearsals for new episodes. Jones, 19, plays the “half” in the popular comedy, portraying actor Jon Cryer’s son.

Jones, who reportedly makes $350,000 an episode, later said he was sorry if his remarks in an interview with a religious organization showed an indifference to his colleagues or a lack of appreciation for his opportunity. He didn’t publicly change his evaluation of the comedy, which is heavy on sexual jokes and innuendo.
