Festivals in two Toledo neighborhoods require street closings, temporary one-way traffic, and parking restrictions, the city transportation division announced.

In the Old West End, parts of Parkwood, Woodruff, and Scottwood avenues will close at 9 a.m. today, and further closings will start Saturday at 9 a.m. on Scottwood, Robinwood Avenue, and Virginia and 23rd streets in the immediate area of the Old West End Festival.

23rd will reopen between Collingwood Boulevard and Jefferson Avenue at 9 p.m. Saturday, but the other affected streets will be closed until midnight Sunday. Parkwood will be closed between Floyd Street and the Glass Pavilion entrance; Woodruff between Scottwood and Collingwood; Robinwood between Bancroft Street and Delaware Avenue; Virginia between Scottwood and Glenwood avenues; and Scottwood between Virginia and Bancroft. Scottwood will be southbound only between Woodruff and Monroe.

In South Toledo, the Our Lady of Perpetual Help Festival will close Central Grove Avenue today through Sunday, while Glynn Drive and parts of Island Avenue and Westmeyer Street are temporarily one-way until Monday morning. Parking is banned along the median island of Beverly Drive and restricted on Westmeyer and Island.
