Christmas may be over, but the holiday fun isn't as a number of holiday-themed events and celebrations will continue.

The lights at the Toledo Zoo's Lights Before Christmas display will stay on until Dec. 31 and feature more than a million holiday lights and an 85-foot Norway spruce towering above the zoo Conservatory. Other highlights include an ice skating rink, ice carving demonstrations, rides, and photographs. The display is open 3 to 8 p.m. today and Sunday through Tuesday, and 3 to 9 p.m. Friday and Saturday. Admission is $13 for visitors ages 12 through 59 and $10 for children ages 2 through 11 and seniors age 60 and over. Children under 2 are admitted free. Information: toledozoo.org.

The 30 displays at Children's Wonderland at Tam-O-Shanter in Sylvania will remain open until Saturday. Hours are 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily and admission is $5 for adults, $3 for children, and $2 for seniors. Train rides, miniature golf, and more are available. Additional fees may apply. The Wolcott House Christmas Tours will continue through Sunday. Every room of the historic house is lavishly decorated for the holidays. Elegant gowns from the 19th century will be on display, as well as a selection of Thomas Nast prints. Tours are at 12:30 and 2:30 p.m. today through Sunday. Information: wolcotthouse.org.

After you've finished celebrating the Christmas holiday, head back to the zoo to ring in the new year. The annual Noon Year's Eve celebration is a family-friendly event that takes place from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday. Visitors can celebrate the new year with an apple juice toast and watch as the ball rises at the stroke of noon. Other highlights include music, crafts, games, and prizes.

Animal enrichment demonstrations will take place throughout the day, along with the ice-carving demonstrations and ice skating. Admission is $7 for adults, $5.50 for children ages 2 through 11 and free for children under age two. Information: toledozoo.org.
