The Lucas County Coroner has ruled in the following deaths:
Frederick Fruchey, 80, of Perrysburg, July 18, at University of Toledo Medical Center. Accidental, atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease, end stage renal disease, and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease; deceased fell in bathroom at home due to syncopal episode.
Carol Hessey, 66, of Toledo, July 15, at Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center. Accidental, craniocerebral injuries; deceased fell down front steps of home.
Katherine Laytart, 82, of Toledo, July 15, at Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center. Accidental, craniocerebral injuries; deceased was found at the base of her front door steps.
Irene Nagy, 88, of Toledo, July 19, at Hospice of Northwest Ohio. Accidental, complications of blunt force trauma head and torso; deceased fell at hospital.
Elijah Peters, 4, of Wapakoneta, Ohio, July 17, at Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center. Accidental, anoxic encephalopathy; complications of near drowning.
Edward Vanderhorst, 70, of Holland, Ohio, July 14, at Ebide Hospice Center. Accidental, complication of blunt force trauma to head; deceased fell at home and ethanol abuse.
