    If you are searching for a lost dog, the office is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday. You must bring a photo ID to walk through the holding areas.

    Dogs killed Sept. 20-22 by Lucas County Dog Warden Julie Lyle:

    Breed and description; location seized; charge (if applicable):

    Pekingese mix, white and tan, unable to tell the gender of the dog due to extremely matted fur, unlicensed, stray, veterinarian recommended euthanasia due to quality of life (pneumonia, could not eat or breathe), North Cove Boulevard, Toledo.

    Labrador mix, black female, unlicensed, stray, veterinarian recommended euthanasia due to quality of life (unable to stand and in extreme pain), South Coy Road, Oregon.

    Shih tzu, white and gray male, licensed, veterinarian recommended euthanasia due to quality of life (recumbent, lethargic, constant vomiting and diarrhea, extremely painful abdomen), surrendered by Ora Walker, Everett Street, Toledo.

    “Pit bull” mix, gray and white female, unlicensed, failed behavior evaluation/food guarding, Idaho Street, Toledo.

    Labrador/border collie mix, black and white male, unlicensed, aggressive/unsafe, Western Avenue, Toledo.

    “Pit bull,” brown and white male, unlicensed, bite history, East Oakland Street, Toledo, running at large.
