Dogs remain available at the Lucas County Dog Warden’s Office, 410 South Erie St., Toledo. For information, call 419-213-2800.

For a complete list of available dogs, go to lucascountydogs.petfinder.com. A $50 adoption fee includes spay-neuter, a heartworm check, microchip ID, vaccinations, and a behavioral evaluation.

The Lucas County Dog Warden’s Office is open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. on Saturday.

“Pit bull,” gray and brindle male, unlicensed, veterinarian recommended euthanasia because of poor quality of life (dog had dislocated hip, severe pneumonia, and anemia), Indiana Avenue, Toledo.

Boxer, tan and white female, unlicensed, stray, veterinarian recommended euthanasia because of poor quality of life (dog had severe arthritis causing hunched back and spinal pain), North Michigan Street, Toledo.

Shar pei mix, tan and sable female, licensed, owner requested euthanasia because dog killed sheep, surrendered by Thomas Metzger, Julianna Lane, Whitehouse.
