Dogs remain available at the Lucas County Dog Warden’s Office, 410 South Erie St., Toledo. For information, call 419-213-2800.

For a complete list of available dogs, go to lucascountydogs.petfinder.com. A $50 adoption fee includes spay-neuter, a heartworm check, microchip ID, vaccinations, and a behavioral evaluation.

The Lucas County Dog Warden’s Office is open 10 a.m. to to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. on Saturday.

Dogs killed

Dogs killed April 23 and 24 by the Lucas County Dog Warden’s Office:

American Eskimo, white female, unlicensed, owner requested euthanasia because dog was old and sick, surrendered by Alta Cox, Poinsetta Avenue, Toledo.

Rottweiler, black and tan female, unlicensed, owner requested euthanasia because dog was old and sick, surrendered by Jessica Burton, Everett Street, Toledo.

“Pit bull,” red and white male, unlicensed, owner requested euthanasia because dog was aggressive, surrendered by James Smeltzer, Colton Street, Toledo.

“Pit bull,” red and white male, unlicensed, stray, failed behavior evaluation/food guarder, Crissey Road, Holland.

“Pit bull,” white and black female, unlicensed, failed behavior evaluation/body handling, surrendered by Niama Jones, Maher Street, Toledo.
