Dogs remain available at the Lucas County Dog Warden’s Office, 410 South Erie St., Toledo. For information, call 419-213-2800.

For a complete list of available dogs, go to lucascountydogs.petfinder.com. A $50 adoption fee includes spay-neuter, a heartworm check, microchip ID, vaccinations, and a behavioral evaluation.

The Lucas County Dog Warden’s Office is open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. on Saturday.

Dogs killed

Dogs killed June 11 by the Lucas County Dog Warden’s Office:

Labrador retriever/German shepherd mix, orange male, licensed, owner requested euthanasia because dog was old and sick, surrendered by Precious Gibson, Campbell Street, Toledo.

Border collie, black and white male, unlicensed, owner requested euthanasia because of dog aggression, surrendered by Kelly Snapp, Huntington Road, Sylvania.

Labrador retriever, tan and white female, unlicensed, owner requested euthanasia because dog was old and sick, surrendered by Jeffery Henneman, Crittenden Avenue, Toledo.

Boxer, black female, unlicensed, veterinarian recommended euthanasia because dog had numerous tumors, surrendered by Jamie Shearer, Sunbreeze Trail, Sylvania.

Boxer, white and black male, unlicensed, owner requested euthanasia because dog had health problems, surrendered by Dawn Bartlett, Highway 53 West, Dawsonville, Georgia.
