Dogs remain available at the Lucas County Dog Warden’s Office, 410 South Erie St., Toledo. For information, call 419-213-2800.

For a complete list of available dogs, go to lucascountydogs.petfinder.com. A $50 adoption fee includes spay-neuter, a heartworm check, microchip ID, vaccinations, and a behavioral evaluation.

Dogs killed July 13 and 15 by the Lucas County Dog Warden’s Office:

Breed and description; location seized; charge (if applicable):

Yorkshire terrier, black and gray male, unlicensed stray, veterinarian recommended euthanasia because dog was suffering from late-stage parvo virus, Eastern Avenue, Toledo, running at large.

“Pit bull,” white male, unlicensed stray, bite attempt, Division Street, Toledo.

“Pit bull” mix, brown and white female, licensed, fearful/unsafe, South Avenue, Toledo, running at large, owner was contacted by phone and mail and did not redeem the dog.

German shepherd, black and white female, unlicensed, fearful/unsafe, West Alexis Road, Toledo, running at large.

Labrador retriever, black and white male, unlicensed, owner requested euthanasia because dog was old and sick, surrendered by Carol Kelly, Brickhead Place, Toledo.
