For a complete list of available dogs, go to lucascountydogs.petfinder.com. A $100 adoption fee includes spay-neuter, a heartworm check, microchip ID, vaccinations, and a behavioral evaluation.

Breed and description; location seized; charge (if applicable). Dogs killed for poor behavior are scored on a scale up to 5, with higher scores being more aggressive:

“Pit bull,” tan and white female, unlicensed, failed behavior evaluation/dog aggression (scored 3 out of 4 on May 4), Tecumseh Street, Toledo, stray picked up by a control officer.

Labrador retriever, yellow and white female, unlicensed, failed behavior evaluation/dog aggression (scored 3/4 on May 4), East Manhattan Boulevard, Toledo, stray picked up by a control officer.
