Dogs killed Aug. 31 and Sept. 2 under the direction of Lucas County Canine Care & Control Director Julie Lyle:

Breed and description; location seized; charge (if applicable). Dogs killed for poor behavior are scored on a scale up to 5, with higher scores being more aggressive:

“Pit bull,” white and brown male, unlicensed, fearful/​unsafe, Bemis Lane, Spencer Township, stray picked up by a control officer.

Miniature poodle, white male, unlicensed, attempted to bite staff multiple times while being handled, Jamie Farr Park, Toledo, stray brought to the shelter.

“Pit bull” mix, black and white female, unlicensed, aggressive/​unsafe, Gordon Street, Toledo, stray brought to the shelter.

Labrador retriever/“pit bull” mix, black and white female, unlicensed, aggressive/​unsafe, surrendered by Richard Streets, Chesbrough Street, Toledo.

Labrador retriever, black male, unlicensed, owner requested euthanasia (cancer), surrendered by Angela Eccleston, Eastwood Avenue, Oregon.
