Scott Secrest is a graduate of St. Francis de Sales High School who has returned to teach at the school. An honors physics teacher, he also served as yearbook moderator for two years and has worked with students on the Knight Sports Network.

He has traveled with student groups to France and has done summer service work with his students on a Lakota Indian reservation in South Dakota and at locations in Honduras and in West Virginia.

"It's clear that Scott enjoys his work and sharing what he knows with his students," said Richard Cromwell, interim principal. "He serves as a fine role model for our students. He lives the motto of our patron saint, Francis de Sales- 'Be who you are and be that well.' "

Mr. Secrest holds a bachelor of science degree from Miami University and a master's degree in physics from the University of Arizona.
