    At the Point Place Library's Lego Building Challenge last week, Jacob Balogh shows the first-place ribbon he received for his mayfly made from the colorful building blocks. He joined other kindergartners through fifth graders from the Point Place neighborhood in the activity.

    Another contestant, Brooke Jacob, makes sure her model butterfly's wings work. The youths joined other kindergartners through fifth graders from the Point Place neighborhood in the activity. The young modelers brought their own Legos to build a bug, which is the theme for this year's summer reading program. Winners now advance to another round of competition at the Main Library downtown.
