YOUTH

Kids in the Kitchen, Wednesdays, 5:30-6:30 p.m., four classes starting March 4. Participants will learn to make simple recipes and learn the basics of cooking. Emphasis on nutritious choices and origins of the foods we eat. Register one week prior to start date. Cost $12 members and $18 nonmembers.

Create a Comic Book, Wednesdays 6:30-7:30 p.m., four classes, starting March 4. This class combines drawing and creative writing in a fun way. All participants will use their imagination to create their own characters, world, and powers. Register one week prior to start date.

Spring Flag Football, practices start the week of March 16. Games are Saturdays March 28-May 2. Boys and girls, ages 4 through fourth grade. Smaller fields and teams to better teach skills and improve play. Your child will have fun while learning the fundamentals of flag football. Fees: $26 members and $39 nonmembers. Register by March 6.

Spring Youth Soccer, Rossford Rec Center for boys and girls ages 4 through fourth grade. Practices start the week of March 16. Teach skills and improve play. Fundamentals of soccer. Games are played Sundays, March 29-May 3. Cost: $26 for pass holders and $39 nonmembers. Register by March 6..

ADULT FITNESS AND RECREATION

Winter Golf Lessons, Saturdays, 10-11 a.m., starting Feb. 28 through March 21. Open to ages 12 and up. Class enrollment is limited to the first 10 persons to register. After the first 10, a waiting list will begin, then if enough people are interested a second class will be formed at 11 a.m. Golfers must bring their own clubs. Balls and mats will be provided. Cost: $65 per person. Register at front desk.

Those under age 16 need to have a parent register and participate with them.
