Ottawa County electronics recycling is Saturday morning

A television recycling collection will be Saturday for residents of Ottawa, Sandusky, and Seneca counties.

In Ottawa County, the collection will be from 9 a.m. to noon at the Ottawa County fairgrounds, West St. Rt. 163, east of Oak Harbor.

Residents will be charged $2 for cathode ray tube televisions up to 24 inches and $3 for larger models. There will be a $5 charge for console unit and projection-screen televisions, which are limited to two per resident.

Flat panel televisions, cell phone equipment, VCRs, DVD players, and stereos will be accepted at no charge. Computers will not be accepted, but they can be recycled at Goodwill stores.
