Northwood to start second Weight Loss Challenge
5/4/2011A second 12-week Northwood Weight Loss Challenge will begin May 11 in hopes of attracting more participants and continuing the effort for residents of Northwood, Oregon, Rossford, Perrysburg, and surrounding communities.
The 11 participants who finished in the first challenge, organized by Herbalife nutritional supplements distributors, lost a total of 234.3 pounds and 198.25 inches, said Pat Wilhelm of Northwood, an organizer.
Cost for the competition is $35, and some of that money will go toward final cash payouts for top winners. The challenge's first session is at 6:30 p.m. May 11 at Josie Reinhart Community Center, 6000 Wales Rd., Northwood.
