Dorr Elementary students chat with soldiers

    • Teacher Natalie Thobe monitors a Skype conversation between her fourth-grade class at Dorr Elementary and Marine Cpl. Dominick Post, who is stationed at the Marine Corps Air Station in Cherry Point, N.C. For the Veterans Day chat, the students wore red, white, and blue clothing, held American flags, and performed a patriotic song. The students also were able to ask servicemen questions about what it's like being a soldier.
