East Toledo woman injured in 2-vehicle accident

An East Toledo woman was injured today when her car was struck as she pulled out of a driveway, police said.

Betty Arnold, 71, of Berry Street was taken to Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center with multiple traumatic injuries, police said. A hospital spokesman said there was no information about a patient by that name.

Ms. Arnold drove eastbound out of a driveway onto Tracy Road about 2:15 p.m. and failed to yield for a car driven by Tammy Gruber, 45, of Deerfield, Mich., which was southbound on Tracy.

Both drivers wore seat belts.
